About the Achilles New Jersey Hope & Possibility
This race is held in memory of a local athlete and reflects the Achilles mission closely: the field includes wheelchair users, runners with physical and sensory disabilities, military veterans, and people doing their first event of any kind. The course is open to those who run, walk, or roll, and the atmosphere follows from that mix rather than from a finish-time leaderboard.
Parking in the main park area fills early, so overflow lots on Rochelle Ave are set up nearby at a school and a Knights of Columbus hall. Both are within easy reach of the start.

The Achilles New Jersey Hope & Possibility has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
