About the ACC Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run
The race runs on Thanksgiving morning at Anderson Creek Club, a residential community in Spring Lake. The course is open to all paces, and entry fees go directly toward a memorial scholarship for graduating seniors from the surrounding neighborhoods. Top finishers in each gender category take home prizes from local businesses.
Coffee and refreshments are on hand after the race, along with music. Packet pickup and registration logistics are handled on site, and the event draws residents and non-residents alike, so the start area tends to feel like a neighborhood gathering more than a traditional race morning.
