About the 17th Annual Abbeville Rotary Club Reindeer Run
The course runs through downtown Abbeville, starting at a bank, passing through Court Square, and heading up the main street before looping back at the library. It is a flat urban route through the historic center of town. The race supports a local Angel Tree Bike Fund, so there is a charitable reason behind it beyond the run itself.
Registration opens the morning of the race, and paper registrations can be brought on race day if you miss the online window. Runners are encouraged to bring their own antlers, which gives the start area a predictably silly look. Day-of pickup at the start line keeps things simple.
