About the Time 2 Read Storybook 5K and Fun Run
The race starts and finishes in a church parking lot, and the storybook character theme runs through the whole morning. Runners who dress as a favorite character from a book can be judged for prizes, with categories for adults, kids, families, and dogs. The field tends to be a mix of serious runners and families out for a costume outing.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the church, and you can pull up by car or walk over to the tables. Race-morning registration is also available on site, starting before the activities kick off.
