About the Memory Grows Legacy 5K Fun Run
The course runs along the Trinity Trails, starting and finishing near the Trinity River. It is an out-and-back on a trail path, turning around just before a bridge over the river. The surface is flat and the surroundings are open, with the water nearby for most of the route. The race is not chip-timed, but serious runners show up alongside those who are there to walk and remember.
Packet pickup is the evening before at Fort Worth Running Company on Hulen Street. Teams can send a single person to grab everyone's packets at once. Race-morning pickup is also available if you cannot make it the day before, though the organizers note that picking up early keeps the start area moving.
