About the 6TH SEAWITCH 1/2 MARATHON CLASSIC

The course runs out and back through Cape Henlopen State Park, tracing a T-shaped route from the main beach parking lot toward Lewes, then down toward Rehoboth, then back. It stays close to the coast the whole way, so the surroundings are open and flat with that salt-air quiet you get near the water in late autumn. Costumes are encouraged, which makes the start area livelier than you might expect.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant on Anglers Road, where pasta is on the menu if you want to carb-load while you collect your bib. Race-morning registration opens early at the start and finish area in the main beach parking lot, with a cutoff just before the gun.
