About the 5K Walk to SOAR
The course runs through Quarry Park, looping back through the finish area before continuing on to the actual finish line. You pass the crowd and the finish setup halfway through, which gives the second loop a different feel. The route starts and finishes near a covered pier overlook, so there is a landmark to orient around.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a recreation center on Indiana Ave, and again at Quarry Park on race morning before the start. The race runs rain or shine, with rescheduling only if conditions get severe.
