The course starts at a Coal Miner's Memorial near a bank on the square, crosses Bell Road, loops behind the high school, and comes back down Main Street to finish at Town Square. It reads like a tour of downtown Greenwood, mostly flat streets with volunteers stationed at every turn to keep you on track. Dogs in costume are welcome, which changes the mood of the start line considerably.
