About the 5K for Pizza: Hoboken
The course runs along the Hoboken waterfront and starts and finishes at Pier A Park. It is flat the whole way, with the river in view for most of the run. Corrals are used at the start to spread the field out, and chip timing handles the results. Prizes go to the top finishers, and there is a best-dressed pizza costume category.
The check-in and post-race festival area sits at the northeast corner of the pier. Pizza from local participating spots is served after the race. Hoboken Terminal is a short walk south of the start, making the PATH and light rail easy options. The nearest parking garage is a short walk from the venue, and metered street parking is available nearby on a first-come basis.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a big field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The 5K for Pizza: Hoboken has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
