About the 5k for Justice
The course runs clockwise loops around a pond, with a short out-and-back added to reach the full distance. The path follows the water the whole way, so the scenery stays consistent and you always know roughly where you are. It is a flat route on park paths, organized by the Brazilian Worker Center and oriented around social justice advocacy.
Several parking lots sit close to the pond, and the start is reachable by bus or subway from multiple lines, each a short walk away. The Emerald Necklace path also connects to the start for anyone coming on foot or by bike.
