About the 5K Color Run and Lil' Monster Dash
This one is built around color and costumes. Runners wear white at the start and get hit with fall-colored powder at stations along the route. Costumes are part of the spirit, and the course is open to strollers, scooters, and wheelchairs. The kids' shorter run kicks off first, with a mini scavenger hunt and bubbles along the way.
Everything takes place at Thurston Woods Village. Packet pickup and day-of registration open early on race morning. After finishing, there is popcorn, donuts, warm cider, and pumpkins set up for photos, plus lawn games and pumpkin painting. The whole event benefits the village's resident fund.
