About the 5K by the Bay

The race starts at the marina park in Safety Harbor and runs along the bay. The waterfront setting keeps things scenic from the first step, and the course is flat enough that most runners can focus on the view rather than their legs. It benefits a foundation that supports veterans through housing, so there is a purpose behind the morning beyond the racing itself.

Packet pickup is available at a couple of locations in Clearwater in the days before the race, including a sporting goods store the evening before. There is also a race-morning pickup window at the marina park before the start.
