About the 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Fundraiser
The course starts and finishes at Club Northwest, a fitness facility in Grants Pass, and the longer distance is chip-timed. A shorter fun run follows later in the morning, and costumes are encouraged for that one, which gives the whole event a pretty playful mood. Both distances draw runners and walkers, and the fundraising purpose is local youth programs.
Packet pickup for the longer distance is available the week before at the Club Northwest lobby, and again on race morning before the start. After you finish, there are food trucks, a bounce house, face painting, and lawn games, so it is worth sticking around if you have family with you.
