West Palm Beach, FL
This is a free run put on by a local running group marking a milestone anniversary. There are several distance options, including a relay format, so groups can split the work. The mood leans toward costumes and team spirit over times, with awards going to the best-dressed and most spirited teams rather than the fastest.
The finish area has a competitive side, just not the kind measured in splits: teams come dressed to win the costume categories.
